By making Drupal easy to use for small groups lacking technical staff or resources, Open Outreach will help groups to make the move to open source.
This install profile ties existing contrib modules together to more easily create Drupal-powered social networking sites. The purpose of this project is to integrate existing social networking features together, to extend Drupal to include "typical" social networking features, and to create a baseline for social network functionality. For more information on the development of this profile, see the DSNF Wiki. This project is funded by the Google Summer of Code 2009.
This package is designed to ease the installation & setup of a Drupal based forum. It contains the necessary content types and views, however it is a very basic implementation at the moment. Because it is based on cck/views, you can help improve it by simply installing this module and posting exports of your changes to the content types or views in the issue queue.
